To help insure that your Blood Pressure monitor produces the proper Blood Pressure reading, it is important that the cuff be placed on the patient’s upper arm in a specific alignment. The point which the hose enters the cuff should be over the Brachial Artery as illustrated with the red arrow below. The index line should fall within the inner arm area.
