This equipment is used to determine dissolution rate of tablets and complies with US-Pharmacopoeia-XVII standard with water constantly moving and holding temp. constant at 37° C ± 0. 5° C throughout the test. A 1000 ml capacity cylindrical vessel with flanges near the top is provided to accept 4 parts cover. Motor speed is controlled by a speed controller within a range of 25 to 150 RPM.
A stainless steel basket is provided to hold samples. The machine works on 220V AC 50Hz single phase.
